AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
PADUCAH AND THE COUNTY OF McCRACKEN, FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A
JOINT PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND
INFORMATION AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the City and County are each presently
engaged in separate telecommunications, computer and
information systems; and
WHEREAS, there does not exist at the present time a
formal written agreement between the City and County for joint
operation and management of telecommunications, computers,
information and data management; and
WHEREAS, the City and County do now desire to execute
a formal agreement regarding such cooperative program.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between
the City of Paducah and County of McCracken for the establish-
ment of a joint Paducah -McCracken County Telecommunications and
Information Authority.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
�1 separate days and will become effective upon summary publica-
tion pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
