AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TELFORD CONTRACTORS,
INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $946,862.00 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
WASTEWATER LIFT STATION AND BUILDING FOR THE PERKINS CREEK LIFT
STATION, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Tilford Contractors,
Inc., in the amount of $946,862.00 for the construction of a wastewater lift station and building
for the Perkins Creek lift station, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of Tilford Contractors, Inc.,
of June 6, 1996.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Tilford Contractors, Inc., for services as set out in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 055-3310-532-
4245 (WW0011).
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
