AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MURTCO MECHANICAL
CONTRACTORS, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $110,256.00 FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
FLOOD CONTROL PUMP STATION #2 STORMWATER PUMP, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
CITY OF PADUC
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE C AH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Murtco Mechanical
Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $110,256.00 for the installation of flood control pump station
#2 stormwater pump, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of Murtco Mechanical Contractors, Inc., of
June 13, 1996.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Murtco Mechanical Contractors, Inc., for services as set out in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 055-3310-532-
4245 (WW0015).
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
