AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PADUCAH TO PAY
TO THE PADUCAH INDEPENDENT SCHOOL SYSTEM AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $46,800 FOR THE SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN'S
LUNCHES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is hereby
authorized to pay to the Paducah Independent School System an
amount not to exceed $46,800 for the Summer Food Program for
Children's Lunches. The City will be reimbursed for this
expenditure by the Kentucky Department of Education, Division
of School and Community Nutrition.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 001-2405-534-3525.
SECTION 3. This program shall become effective June
1, 1996.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and published by summary pursuant to KRS Chapter
424.
