AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONSIDERATION CERTIFICATE FOR KENTUCKY AVENUE BETWEEN 27TH STREET
AND 28TH STREET
C, WHEREAS, on April 23, 1996, the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, adopted Municipal Order No. 724 assuming responsibility for Kentucky
Avenue between 27th and 28th Street; and
WHEREAS, by the above-mentioned Municipal Order the State executed a
Quitclaim Deed to the City for said property; and
WHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Kentucky is now requesting that a
Consideration Certificate be executed by the City of Paducah.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
Consideration Certificate included in a Quitclaim Deed executed by the Commonwealth of
Kentucky transferring Kentucky Avenue between 27th Street and 28th Street to the City of
Paducah.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
