HomeMy WebLinkAbout96-10-5582734 ORDINANCE NO. 96-10-5-5f)— AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KENNETH HOWLE IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,600 FOR DEMOLITION OF CONDEMNED STRUCTURES LOCATED AT 1720 MONROE STREET IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME WHEREAS, pursuant to KRS 61.252, the City of Paducah 01 has received disclosures and adopted findings of fact with respect to the entry of an agreement with Kenneth Howle, a city employee, for the demolition of certain property located within the City of Paducah; and WHEREAS, the City desires to receive Howle's bid and enter into such agreement. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Kenneth Howle in the amount of $2,600 for demolition of condemned structures at 1720 Monroe Street in the City of Paducah, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of Kenneth Howle of June 7, 1996. SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Kenneth Howle for services as set out in Section 1 above, according to the specifications and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 001-1803-522-2313. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
