AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND
SEAMEN'S CHURCH INSTITUTE OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY, FOR LEASE
BY SEAMEN'S OF VARIOUS BUILDINGS LOCATED AT 117 SOUTH FIRST
STREET IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, McCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY
C11 WHEREAS, the City of Paducah is the owner of various
buildings located at 117 South First Street; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to lease such buildings to
Seamen's for the purpose of operating a maritime simulator
facility/training school; and
WHEREAS, it is now the express intent of the parties
to enter into a lease which will set out the terms, conditions
and covenants of the parties.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a Lease Agreement between the City of
Paducah and Seamen's Church Institute of New York and New
Jersey, for lease by Seamen's of various buildings located at
117 South First Street in the City of Paducah, McCracken
County, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publi-
cation pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
