ORDINANCE NO. 96-8-SS41
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ENVIRONMENTAL WOOD
RECYCLING IN THE AMOUNT OF $225.00 PER HOUR FOR TREE AND BRUSH
GRINDING AT THE CITY'S COMPOST SITE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid
of Environmental Wood Recycling the amount of $225 per hour for
tree and brush grinding at the City's compost site, said bid
being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
as contained in the bid of Environmental Wood Recycling of
August 13, 1996.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Environmental Wood Recycling for grinding
services as set out in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. The term of
this contract shall be for two years and shall contain a
provision for option to renew.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 050-2211-531-2401.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and shall become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
