AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND AMERICAN FEDERATION
OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES AFL-CIO, LOCAL 1586
WHEREAS, the City and the Union entered into a
contract concerning wage rates and other conditions of
employment; and
WHEREAS, the duration of said contract is from
July 1, 1996, through June 30, 1999.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a Contract between the City of Paducah and American
Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees AFL-CIO,
Local 1586.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
