AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC. 150.15, BUILDING, ENERGY
CONSERVATION AND MECHANICAL CODES ADOPTED; APPLICATION, OF
CHAPTER 150, BUILDING REGULATIONS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Sec. 150.15, Building, Energy
Conservation and Mechanical Codes Adopted; Application, of
Chapter 150, Building Regulations, of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"(A) The X000 1994 edition of the Kentucky Building
Code; the BOCA Basic Mechanical Code 1993 edition, and the BOCA
Basic Energy Conservation Code 1993 edition; and all subsequent
editions of these Codes are hereby adopted by reference and
made a part of this code as if fully set forth herein.
"(B) The Kentucky Building Code is hereby made
applicable to all buildings within the City, including
single-family dwellings."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
