HomeMy WebLinkAbout96-11-5604I ORDINANCE NO. 96 -11 - AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED AND TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT BETWEEN CITIZENS BANK & TRUST COMPANY OF PADUCAH AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH FOR REAL PROPERTY TO BE USED FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF A PUBLIC ROADWAY KNOWN AS THE EAST MALL ACCESS ROAD WHEREAS, Citizens Bank & Trust Company does hereby bargain and sell, and does hereby remise, release and quitclaim to the City of Paducah, its successors and assigns forever, certain real property lying and being in McCracken County, Kentucky, known as the East Mall Access Road; and WHEREAS, Citizens Bank & Trust Company does also grant, bargain, sell, transfer and convey unto the City of Paducah, its successors and assigns, a temporary construction easement for construction and widening of the aforementioned roadway improvement, with all rights in ingress, egress and regress over and across real property owned by Citizens, being a portion of the aforementioned tract of land. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Quitclaim Deed and Temporary Construction Easement between Citizens Bank & Trust Company of Paducah and the City of Paducah for real property to be used for the improvement of a public roadway known as the East Mall Access Road. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
