AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $40,000 WITH
PURCHASE AREA DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT (PADD) FOR MANAGEMENT
SERVICES FOR THE MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AREA HOUSING INITIATIVE
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City has obtained a Community Develop-
ment Block Grant and funding from HOME and other sources to
complete the Martin Luther King Hr. Area Housing Initiative;
and
WHEREAS, the City desires to engage Purchase Area
Development District (PADD) to render technical advice,
administrative assistance and project management services
necessary for the implementation and successful completion of
this project.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a contract with Purchase Area Development
District (PADD) in an amount not to exceed $40,000, for PADD to
provide management services for the Martin Luther King Jr. Area
Housing Initiative Project.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 006-1214-513-2402.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
