HomeMy WebLinkAbout96-11-560013 ORDINANCE NO. 96-11- 6-4,66 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A RENEWAL LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND JAMES MARINE, INC. WHEREAS, on October 31, 1986, the City and James Marine, Inc. entered into a lease agreement wherein the City leased and let unto James Marine certain real property located in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, which real property is adjacent to property owned by James Marine, Inc. at 1810 South 4th Street; and WHEREAS, the term of said lease agreement was for a period of five years with an option to renew for an additional period of five years; and WHEREAS, the parties do now desire to enter into a renewal lease agreement. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Renewal Lease Agreement between the City of Paducah and James Marine, Inc. for lease to James Marine a parcel of real property located in the City of Paducah lying north (river side) of a line 25 feet north (river side) of the City of Paducah Floodwall, extending to the Tennessee River, east of Island Creek and west of property owned by James Marine, Inc., adjacent to 1810 South 4th Street. SECTION 2.
