ORDINANCE NO. 96-11--,
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO
WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE TO OBTAIN A LOCAL LAW
ENFORCEMENT MATCHING BLOCK GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $156,659 FOR
THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a Grant Agreement and all documents
relating thereto with the U.S. Department of Justice to obtain
a Local Law Enforcement Matching Block Grant in the amount of
$156,659 for the Paducah Police Department. The City will
provide matching funds in the amount of $17,407 for this
project.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
