ORDINANCE NO. 96-8-SSSIp
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SALARIES OF CIVIL SERVICE
EMPLOYEES OF THE OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That civil service salaries in the Department of Finance of the City
of Paducah, Kentucky, are hereby amended to read as follows:
"Department of Finance.
This department shall be under the direction and supervision of the City Treasurer
- Finance Director, a noncivil service position which has heretofore been created by separate
ordinance.
(a) There is hereby created and authorized the following positions in the
Department of Finance, and the salary of each position that shall be paid upon satisfactory
completion of consecutive years of service, in this position, and upon recommendation of the City
Manager:

(b)
The chief of the maintenance division may
designate one maintenance
specialist in his department to act as lead man or part-time working foreman to serve in such
capacity at the direction of the chief of the maintenance division. The maintenance specialist so
designated shall be paid an additional $1.00 per hour during such times as the maintenance
specialist designated
actually serves in such capacity.
SECTION 3. That civil service salaries in the Department of Parks of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky,
are hereby amended to read as follows:
"Department of Parks.
(a)
There is hereby authorized and created the
following positions in the
Department of Parks, the salaries of each position that shall be paid upon satisfactory completion
of consecutive years of service, in this positions and upon recommendation of the
City Manager:
