AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $75,000.00 WITH APEX
ENGINEERING, INC., FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE
DESIGN FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO FLOOD PUMP STATIONS NOS. 1, 2, 5, 6, 7 AND 11
WHEREAS, the City has a need for engineering services necessary for the design
for improvements to Flood Pump Stations Nos. 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, and 11; and
WHEREAS, Apex Engineering, Inc., has in its employ persons experienced in this
area of expertise.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute an
agreement with Apex Engineering, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $75,000.00 for professional
engineering services for the design for improvements to Flood Pump Stations Nos. 1, 2, 5, 6, 7,
and 11.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 040-3305-532-
2307 (Project DR0002).
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
