ORDINANCE NO. 97-6-S 0'70
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CARLISLE EQUIPMENT
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,226 FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE 1995
BOMAG VIBRATORY ROLLER FOR USE BY THE STREET DIVISION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid
of Carlisle Equipment Inc. in the amount of $15,226, for sale
to the city of one 1995 Bomag vibratory roller for use by the
Street Division, said bid being in substantial compliance with
the bid specifications and advertisement for bids, and as
contained in the bids of Carlisle Equipment Inc. of June 4,
1997.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Carlisle Equipment Inc., for the
purchase of equipment as set out in Section 1 above, according
to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 001-2202-531-4001.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
