AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY
THE SUM OF $19,520 TO TUPELO FIRE EQUIPMENT FOR THE PURCHASE
OF TOOLS AND RELATED EQUIPMENT FOR USE WITH CURRENT LIFE-
SAVING APPARATUS USED BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, life saving apparatus being utilized by
the Fire Department is not fully equipped for use in
emergency life-saving situations; and
WHEREAS, immediate purchase of this equipment is
required in order to fully equip this emergency life-saving
apparatus.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer is authorized
to pay the sum of $19,520 to Tupelo Fire Equipment for the
purchase of tools and related equipment for use with current
Phoenix life-saving apparatus used by the Fire Department.
SECTION 2. This purchase shall be charged to
Account No. 001-1802-522-4011.
SECTION 3.
In order to fully equip current fire
apparatus with required life saving equipment, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become
C, effective immediately with one reading.
