HomeMy WebLinkAbout97-1-5629ORDINANCE NO. 97-1- AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD IN THE AMOUNT OF $29,352.00 FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO 1997 FORD TAURUS AUTOMOBILES FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND GENERAL GOVERNMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Paducah Ford in the amount of $29,352.00, for sale to the City of two 1997 Ford Taurus automoibles, for use by the Police Department and General Government, said bid being in substantial compliance with bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of Paducah Ford of December 20, 1996. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Paducah Ford for the purchase of two automobiles, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications and bid proposal. SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Account No. 001-1602-521-40- 05. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
