AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD IN THE
AMOUNT OF $19,621 FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE 1997 FORD 3/4 TON 4 x4
C�TRUCK FOR USE BY THE STREET DIVISION /ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Paducah Ford in the amount
of $19,621 for sale to the City of one 1997 Ford 3/4 ton 4X4 truck for use by the Street
Division/Engineering Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with bid specifications,
and as contained in the bid of Paducah Ford of February 21, 1997.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Paducah
Ford for the purchase of one 1997 3/4 ton 4X4 truck, authorized in Section 1 above, according to
the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated
in the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Account No. 001-2202-531-4007.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
