ORDINANCE NO. 97-2- �6
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH WRIGHT BUSINESSES INC. IN THE
AMOUNT OF $40,000.00 FOR CABLING OF THE PADUCAH POWER BUILDING FOR
THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 95-11-5407, adopted November 20, 1995, the City
entered into a contract with Wright Businesses, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $66,451.80 for
the cabling of City Hall, Fire Station No. l and the Public Works Building; and
WHEREAS, a contract amendment is required in the amount of $40,000.00, for
cabling of the Paducah Power Building for the Police Department and the Public Works Building,
and amending the total contract amount to $106,451.80.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
contract amendment with Wright Businesses, Inc., in the amount of $40,000.00, for cabling of the
Paducah Power Building for the Police Department and the Public Works Building.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with Wright Businesses, Inc., is
amended to $106,451.80.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 040-8827-536-

2307.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
