CITY OF PADUCAH
Ordinance No. 97-2- 5644
ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS
NECESSARY FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
AND THE FISCAL COURT OF McCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY,
TO JOINTLY PURCHASE APPROXIMATELY 87.6 ACRES OF REAL
PROPERTY OWNED BY CHARLES AND JUDY BEYER
LOCATED ON OLIVET CHURCH ROAD, FOR A SUM NOT TO
EXCEED $875,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION I. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute,
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest under the seal of the City
of Paducah, any and all documents necessary for the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and the
Fiscal Court of McCracken County, Kentucky, to jointly acquire approximately 87.6 acres
of real property owned by Charles and Judy Beyer located on Olivet Church Road, for
and in consideration of a sum not to exceed $875,000.00.
SECTION II. Any expenditures incurred by the City of Paducah in
connection with the above shall be charged to account number
SECTION III. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
become effective upon publication in accordance with KRS Chapter 424.
