AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,464.33 WITH MURTCO
INC., FOR THE GUYLINE DRIVE PHASE II SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 95-11-5496 to enter into a contract
with Murtco Inc., for the Guyline Drive Phase II Sanitary Sewer Extension Project; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of
$10,464.33 and an increase of 217 calendar days for the additional work required to complete the
Guyline Drive Phase II Sanitary Sewer Extension Project for the above referenced contract,
increasing the total contract price to $141,411. 33.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $10,464.33 with Murtco, Inc., and an increase of
217 calendar days for the additional work required to complete the Guyline Drive Phase II
Sanitary Sewer Extension Project, increasing the total cost to $141,411.33.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and shall become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
