ORDINANCE NO. 97-4-
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF NATIONAL LINEN
AND UNIFORM SERVICE FOR UNIFORM RENTAL AND CLEANING FOR
EMPLOYEES IN VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS, FOR PROVIDING MISCEL-
LANEOUS CLEANING SERVICES, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the
bid of National Linen and Uniform Service for furnishing the
City with uniforms for employees in the various departments,
and for providing miscellaneous cleaning services in an
amount not to exceed $105,000.00 for a term of two years.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with National Linen and Uniform Service
for furnishing the City with uniforms and services as
authorized in Section 1 above, pursuant to the advertisement
for bids, specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. Payment for said uniforms and cleaning
services shall be charged to account numbers of the departments
using such services.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
01 publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
