AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $14,676, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE
NEW 1997 FORD TAURUS AUTOMOBILE, FOR USE BY THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the
bid of Paducah Ford Inc. in the amount of $14,676, for sale
to the City of one new 1997 Ford Taurus automobile for use
by Fire Department, said bid being in substantial compliance
with the bid specifications, advertisement for bid, and as
contained in the bid of Paducah Ford Inc. of December 20,
1996.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Paducah Ford Inc. for the purchase
of one new automobile, authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 001-1801-521-4005.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
