AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF COMPUTER
HARDWARE FROM SYSTEMS SPECIALIST INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,251
TO UPGRADE THE AS/400 COMPUTER SYSTEM, AND AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State
Contract Number 0032869, and competitive bidding is not
required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is hereby
authorized to purchase computer hardware from Systems
Specialist Inc. in the amount of $25,251 to upgrade the AS/400
computer system, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract for purchase of same.
SECTION 2. This purchase shall be charged to
Account Number 040-0112-511-2307.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
