AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF A PORTION OF FIRST
STREET BETWEEN BROADWAY AND JEFFERSON STREET TO NORTH WATER
STREET AND A PORTION OF FIRST STREET BETWEEN BROADWAY AND
WASHINGTON STREET TO SOUTH WATER STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the name of a portion of First Street in the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be changed to North Water Street; said portion of First Street being renamed is
described as follows:
A 66' right of way presently named First Street, one block in length, between
Broadway and Jefferson Street.
That the name of a portion of First Street in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be
changed to South Water Street; said portion of First Street being renamed is described as follows:
A 66' right of way presently named First Street two blocks in length, between
Broadway and Washington Street.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
