AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO PAY
TO THE PADUCAH INDEPENDENT SCHOOL SYSTEM AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $65,950 FOR THE SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN'S
LUNCHES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is hereby
authorized to pay to the Paducah Independent School System an
amount not to exceed $65,950 for the Summer Food Program for
Children's Lunches. The Kentucky Department of Education,
Division of School and Community Nutrition, will reimburse the
City of Paducah for the cost of food for this program.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 001-2405-534-3525.
SECTION 3. This program will begin on June 3, 1996.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and published by summary pursuant to KRS Chapter
424.
