AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WAGGONER CLOTHING
IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $57,500 FOR FIREFIGHTER UNIFORMS TO
BE PURCHASED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the
bid of Waggoner Clothing in an amount not to exceed $57,500 for
Firefighter Uniforms to be purchased by the City.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Waggoner Clothing for sale to the City
of Firefighter Uniforms as authorized in Section 1 above, said
bid being in substantial compliance with the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid, and as contained in the bid of
Waggoner Clothing of March 27, 1997.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Account
No. 001-1802-522-1610.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
