ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $63,750 WITH
FLORENCE AND HUTCHESON INC. FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE
MORGAN-CORNELL DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT - PHASE II
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 95-7-5321, adopted on July
11, 1995, the City approved an Agreement with Florence and
Hutcheson Inc. in an amount not to exceed $87,648 for
professional engineering services for the drainage improvement
project within the Cornell Subdivision, and for the Morgan
School, Cross Creek and Littleville areas; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 96-3-5467 approved inspection
services in an amount not to exceed $19,000 for Phase I of this
project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary at this time to provide for
engineering services for the Morgan -Cornell Drainage Improve-
ment Project - Phase II; and
WHEREAS, Florence and Hutcheson Inc. has in its
employ persons experienced in this area of expertise.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute an agreement with Florence and Hutcheson
pp Inc. in an amount not to exceed $63,750 for engineering
services for the Morgan -Cornell Drainage Improvement Project -
Phase II.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 040-3305-532-2307.
SECTION 3 This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
