HomeMy WebLinkAbout97-9-5723204 ORDINANCE NO. 97-9- '677c23 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF ALLEN & COMPANY, PSC, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS, FOR A COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH FROM JULY 1, 1996, TO JUNE 30, 1997, FOR THE SUM OF $38,000, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE 0 A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the proposal of Allen & Company, PSC, Certified Public Accounts, for a comprehensive annual financial report of all city accounts, including the general fund, the police and firemen's pension fund, the appointive employees' pension fund, sewer system funds, parking facility funds, and other incidental accounting services, for the sum of $38,000, covering the period from July 1, 1996, to June 30, 1997; said proposal being according to the terms and conditions set forth in the letter of Allen & Company, PSC, Certified Public Accountants, to the Mayor and City Commissioners dated June 16, 1997. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said contract as set out in Section 1 above. SECTION 3. Payment for the audit expenses set forth in Section 1 above shall be charged to various accounts. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
