HomeMy WebLinkAbout97-9-5715194 ORDINANCE NO. 97-9-, 7/v— AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 126.70(2)c OF THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on July 21, 1997, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE BY AMENDING SECTION 126.70(2)c", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same is hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That Section 126.70(2)c of the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1976, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Three acres if used for a combination of residential and business uses in a POP, B-1, Ot B-3 or HBD Zone and six acres if used for business purposes only in a POP, B-1, fd B-3 or HBD Zone." SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
