AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF VASCO, INC., FOR LEAF
BAGS IN THE AMOUNT OF $53,800
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Vasco, Inc., for leaf
' bags in the amount of $53,800, for use in the City of Paducah's Yard Waste Collection Program,
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bids, and as
contained in the bid of Vasco, Inc., dated September 24, 1997.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Vasco,
Inc., for the purchase of 500,000 leaf bags, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.

SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to account no. 050-2212-531-35-
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
