AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
DEED FOR THE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF
PADUCAH FROM FOUR RIVERS COUNCIL BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA FOR THE
SUM OF $130,000, LOCATED AT 1934 AND 2000 B STREET IN THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a deed for the purchase of real property by the City
of Paducah from Four Rivers Council Boy Scouts of America for
the sum of $130,000, located at 1934 and 2000 B Street in the
City of Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. This property is more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being located
190.00 feet on a bearing of N 13 degrees 33' 11" E
from the northeast intersection of the
right-of-way of B Stret and 21st Street (also
known as Metzger Blvd.), said point also being on
the north side of a 10' alley, said point also
being on the east right-of-way of B Street; thence
from the point of beginning along the right-of-way
of B Street N 13 degrees 33' 11" E 530.62 feet to
the south margin of a 16' alley; thence leaving B
Street along said alley margin S 76 degrees 26'
49" E 336.00 feet to a point in the west
right-of-way of A Street (also known as Joe Bryan
.'" Drive); thence leaving said alley along the west
margin of A Street, S 13 degrees 11" W 546.80 feet
to a point in the north margin of a 10' alley;
thence leaving A Street, along said 10' alley
margin N 73 degrees 41' 24" W 336.39 feet to the
poing of beginning, containing 4.155 acres.
The above described tract of land also has
included in it a closed right-of-way of Wheeler
Street, by Ordinance No. 81-6-2110 of June 23,
1981.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 001-1204-513-2307, Project #PA0018.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publica-
tion pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
