AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN WILBERT VAULT COMPANY AND THE CITY
OF PADUCAH FOR BURIAL SERVICES AT OAK GROVE CEMETERY
WHEREAS, the City is the present owner of a cemetery
generally known as "Oak Grove Cemetery", located in the City of
Paducah; and
WHEREAS, the City does not desire to continue to be
involved with performing burial services at said cemetery; and
WHEREAS, Wilbert Vault Company desires to provide
burial services at said cemetery; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an understanding
regarding the foregoing and do now desire to render such
understanding in writing.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute an Agreement between Wilbert Vault Company
and the City of Paducah, for burial services at Oak Grove
Cemetery, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. This ordinance ishall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
