AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MURTCO, INC., IN THE
AMOUNT OF $52,210.00 FOR THE LITTLEVILLE WATER AND SANITARY SEWER
EXTENSION, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Murtco, Inc., in the
amount of $52,210.00 for the Littleville Water and Sanitary Sewer Extension, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of Murtco, Inc.,
dated November 10, 1997.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Murtco,
Inc., for the Littleville Water and Sanitary Sewer Extension, authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 001-1204-513-
2307 (#ED0008).
SECTION 4. In order to complete this project prior to the onset of inclement
f weather an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective with
one reading.
