AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING
THERETO WITH THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY, DEPARTMENT OF
LOCAL GOVERNMENT, TO OBTAIN FUNDS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF REAL
PROPERTY FOR A PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
Grant Agreement and all docu�ients relating thereto with the Commonwealth of
Kentucky, Department of Local Government, to obtain funds in the amount of $500,000
for the acquisition of real property located between the floodwall, North Third Street,
Washington Street and Clark Street for a Performing Arts Center.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
