ORDINANCE NO. 98-8-5918
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan was adopted by the City of Paducah
in 1976; and
WHEREAS, the Paducah Planning Commission conducted a thorough
study and review of the City's Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Paducah Planning Commission conducted a public hearing
on February 6, 1989; and
WHEREAS, upon recommendation of the Paducah Planning Commission,
the City by Ordinance No. 89-2-4207 adopted the Comprehensive Plan of 1988, as
appears in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Paducah, and as received and filed by
the City Commission on February 14, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah by Ordinance No. 91-7-4634 amended
the Comprehensive Plan by adding an amendment entitled, "Comprehensive Plan
Amendment for Highway 60 Annexation Area"; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah by Ordinance No. 92-5-4763 amended
the Comprehensive Plan by adding an amendment entitled, "Comprehensive Plan
�^ Amendment for the Paducah Information Age Park"; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah by Ordinance No. 92-8-4813 amended
the Comprehensive Plan by adding an amendment entitled, "Comprehensive Plan
Amendment for the Fairways"; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah by Ordinance No. 92-12-4879 amended
the Comprehensive Plan by adding an amendment entitled, "Comprehensive Plan
Amendment for the West Park Village Area"; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah by Ordinance No. 93-5-4941 amended
the Comprehensive Plan by adding an amendment entitled, "Comprehensive Plan
Amendment for the Paducah Information Age Park"; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah by Ordinance No. 93-8-5003 amended
the Comprehensive Plan by adding an amendment entitled, "Comprehensive Plan
Amendment for Paducah Waterfront Plan"; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah by Ordinance No. 97-11-5772 amended
the Comprehensive Plan by adding amendments entitled, "Comprehensive Plan
Amendment--Paducah-McCracken County Industrial Park" and "Comprehensive Plan
Amendment: Land Use Transportation and 201 Sanitary Sewer Facilities".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. Upon recommendation of the Paducah Planning
Commission, the City of Paducah hereby amends the Comprehensive Plan adopted by

Ordinance No. 89-2-4207 on February 28, 1989, by adopting an amendment entitled,
Comprehensive Plan Amendment for Goals and Objectives", as contained in a resolution
adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on July 6, 1998. A copy of this resolution
is adopted by reference as if fully incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
