AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CUMBERLAND CONVEYOR
COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF A CONVEYOR FOR THE TERRELL STREET
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Cumberland Conveyor
Company for the purchase of a conveyor in the amount of $19,744.00 for the Terrell Street
Wastewater Treatment Plant, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications,
advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of Cumberland Conveyor Company dated
December 4, 1997.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Cumberland Conveyor Company for the purchase of a conveyor, according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to account no. 055-3310-532-
4245 WW0036.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
