AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH PADUCAH POWER SYSTEM FOR A SUM NOT TO
EXCEED $30,000 PER YEAR FOR TREE MAINTENANCE WITHIN THE CITY OF
PADUCAH
WHEREAS, the City has a need for tree maintenance
services; and
WHEREAS, Paducah Power System has in its employ
persons experienced in this area of expertise, as well the
equipment required to perform these services.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute an agreement with Paducah Power System in
an amount not to exceed $30,000 per year for tree maintenance
within the City of Paducah.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 001-2202-531-3919.
SECTION 3 This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
