AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF 40 CART
CONTAINMENT SYSTEMS FROM FIBREX GROUP, INC. FOR USE BY THE SOLID
WASTE DIVISION, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah authorizes the purchase of 40 cart containment
systems in the amount of $30,743.20 from Fibrex Group, Inc. for use by the Public Works
Department/Solid Waste Division, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications, advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of Fibrex Group, Inc. dated
November 21, 1997.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Fibrex
Group, Inc. for the purchase of 40 cart containment systems, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.

SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to account no. 050-2209-531-42-
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
