AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDED CONTRACT WITH CIVIL DESIGN GROUP, INC., FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE COUNTY PARK ROAD/STUART NELSON PARK
ROAD SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, on September 11, 1997, an agreement was executed with Civil
Design Group, Inc., for professional engineering design services for the County Park Road
Sanitary Sewer Extension in an amount not to exceed $5,917.00; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to amend this contract for an alternative design to
include Stuart Nelson Park Road in an amount not to exceed $6,568.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute an
Amended Contract with Civil Design Group, Inc., in the amount of $12,485.00 for professional
engineering services for the County Park Road/Stuart Nelson Park Road Sanitary Sewer
Extension Project. The original contract was in an amount not to exceed $5,917.00, and is being
increased by $6,568.00.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 050-3310-532-
4245 (WW0035).
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
