AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDED CONTRACT WITH FLORENCE & HUTCHESON, INC., FOR
MORGAN CORNELL DRAINAGE RVIPROVEMENT PROJECT - PHASE II
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 97-9-5726, the City executed a contract with
Florence & Hutcheson, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $63,750.00 for professional engineering
services for the Morgan Cornell Drainage Improvement Project - Phase H; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to amend this contract for additional engineering
services for said project.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute an
Amended Contract with Florence & Hutcheson, Inc., in the amount of $19,910.00 for additional
engineering services for the Morgan Cornell Drainage Improvement Project - Phase II. The
original contract was in amount not to exceed $63,750.00. Total contract price is an amount not
to exceed $83,660.00.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 040-3305-532-
2307 (DR0001).
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
