ORDINANCE NO 98-3-,33
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF SIX 1998 FORD
F-150 ONE-HALF TON TRUCKS FROM PAUL MILLER FORD INC. IN THE
AMOUNT OF $15,316.00 EACH, FOR A TOTAL OF $91,896.00, FOR USE
BY VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State
Contract No. BP008449, and competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED�BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is authorized to
purchase six 1998 Ford F-150 half -ton trucks in the amount of
$15,316.00 each, for a total of $91,896.00, from Paul Miller
Ford Inc., for use by various departments.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute a
contract with Paul Miller Ford Inc. for the purchase of six
vehicles, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications and all contract documents heretofore approved.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to the
following accounts as follows:
$45,948 to Account No. 070-2215-541-4005;
$30,632 to Account No. 055-3303-532-4005;
$15,316 to Account No. 050-2208-531-4005.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
® separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
