AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $39,592.98 WITH H & G
CONSTRUCTION FOR THE EAST MALL ACCESS ROAD
C, WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 96-6-5512 on June 25, 1996, to
enter into a contract with H & G Construction for the construction of the East Mall Access Road;
and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required in the amount of $39,592.98 for
necessary adjustments to complete construction for the above referenced contract, increasing the
total contract price to $886,166.46.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $39,592.98 with H & G Construction for necessary
adjustments to complete construction of the East Mall Access Road, increasing the total cost to
$886,166.46.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and shall become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
