ORDINANCE NO. 98-4- 4 3 ,S-
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF GALLS INC. FOR THE
PURCHASE OF VEHICLE EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $21,519.20, FOR
USE BY VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Galls Inc. for the
purchase of vehicle equipment in the amount of $21,519.20, for use by various
departments, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications,
advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of Galls Inc. of April 3, 1998.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Galls
Inc. for the purchase of vehicle equipment, authorized in Section 1 above, according
to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents heretofore approved
and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to the following accounts:
001-1602-521-4009 (Police) 001-2202-531-4219 (Street)
055-3302-531-4219 and 055-3303-531-4219 (Wastewater) and
050-2208-531-4009 (Solid Waste)
SECTION 4. In order to install this equipment on new vehicles recently
purchased, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become
effective immediately with one reading.
