ORDINANCE NO. 98-6-S�99
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING A SALARY SCHEDULE FOR EMPLOYEES
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 96-12-5619 the City adopted a salary schedule for
employees of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, who are not elected officials or members of police
or firefighters' bargaining units; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 97-10-5739 the City implemented a 3.5% increase
to all positions; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 98-1-5793 the City renamed the position of
Forester/Grounds Maintenance Superintendent to Grounds/Cemetery Superintindent; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 98-1-5814 the City created the position of part-
time Project Engineer; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 98-4-5858 created the position of Recreation
Specialist in the Parks Department; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 98-5-5865 increased the salary of the City
Manager; and
WHEREAS, the City now desires to revise the pay grade of the Liason Officer,
City Clerk and Revenue Coordinator and rename the title of Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to
Grounds/Cemetery Supervisor.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The amended salary schedule is attached hereto and incorporated by
reference as if fully set forth herein.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
