AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BILL SOUTH
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $28,850 FOR
IMPROVEMENTS TO THE FIRE TRAINING FACILITY, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Bill South
Construction Company Inc. in the amount of $28,850 for improvements to the existing
fire training facility, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications,
advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of Bill South Construction Company of
April 16, 1998.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Bill South Construction Company Inc. for improvements to the fire training facility,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account Nos. 02-1801-
522-2307 and 055-3310-532-4245.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
