AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDED CONTRACT WITH FLORENCE & HUTCHESON, INC., FOR
THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT AERATION SYSTEM UPGRADE
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 96-8-5550, the City executed a contract with
Hutcheson Inc. in an amount not to exceed $13 900.00 for professional engineering

services for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Aeration System Upgrade; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to amend this contract for additional design
services for said project.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute an
Amended Contract with Florence & Hutcheson, Inc., in the amount of $3,984.00 for additional
design services for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Aeration System Upgrade. The original
contract was in amount not to exceed $13,900.00. Total contract price is an amount not to
exceed $17,884.00
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. WWSW fund
055-3310-532-4245 WW0023.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
