AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TERRY LAND
DEVELOPMENT, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $174,019.28 FOR THE LITTLEVILLE
ROADWAY, DRAINAGE AND SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Terry Land
Development, Inc., in the amount of $174,019.28 for the Littleville Roadway, Drainage and
Sewer Improvement Project, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications,
and as contained in the bid of Terry Land Development, Inc., dated May 14, 1998.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Terry Land
Development, Inc. for the Littleville Roadway, Drainage and Sewer Improvement Project,
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 001-1204-513-
2307 ED0009.
SECTION 4. An emergency is hereby declared to exist due to the need to
complete the project in a timely manner more conducive to the opening and full operation of the
` Chempac, Inc.'s shipping and receiving activities, this ordinance shall become effective
immediately with one reading.
